Infrared Varnish & Lacquer Drying Ovens

In the wood industry, these ovens use gas-fired infrared heaters to dry varnish, lacquer, and other wet finishes on furniture quickly and reliably. Operating at approximately 40–60°C, they are easy to install and simple to use. While conventional ovens often require 8–12 hours to dry varnish and lacquer, infrared wood drying ovens can reduce drying time to 1–2 hours (application dependent). Loading and unloading are straightforward, supporting efficient daily operation.

Because there is no separate heating unit, air circulation inside the oven is minimal—helping reduce dust-related defects on wood surfaces. The infrared panels keep radiant energy within the chamber, and the stainless-steel inner cladding reflects IR energy to improve overall heating efficiency. With lower gas consumption compared to conventional drying, operating costs can be significantly reduced (process dependent).
