Infrared Curing Ovens
Infrared heaters used for curing powder and liquid coatings deliver fast, efficient curing while reducing floor space and energy consumption.
Rather than heating the entire air volume or the full mass of the part, infrared energy excites the coating and the part surface directly, accelerating the curing process.
Heat penetrates the substrate progressively from the surface inward, depending on the material’s thermal conductivity—so the part does not need to be heated through its entire thickness as in conventional convection systems.
Because infrared curing does not rely on heated air as the primary heat-transfer medium, it eliminates much of the inefficiency of conventional ovens.
The coated surface and the applied film are heated directly, allowing curing and heating to be completed in significantly shorter cycle times.

Advantages
- Flameless radiant heating: Gas-fired infrared panels generate heat via an exothermic reaction on the emitter surface, delivering infrared radiation without an open flame—supporting safer operation in applications where flammable vapors may be present (subject to proper engineering and local safety standards).
- Cleaner heating environment: With no open flame on the heating surface, the system reduces direct flame-related risks and helps maintain a more stable process environment. (Combustion products still require appropriate ventilation/exhaust as applicable.)
- Smaller footprint: Shorter curing times can significantly reduce required oven length and installation space compared to conventional convection ovens (application dependent).
