Electric Infrared Powder Coating Preheating Modules
Electric infrared heaters are used across many industries where fast, efficient heating is required. To maximize reflectivity and IR efficiency, gold-coated reflectors are used, helping deliver economical operation with low energy consumption (application dependent). For special applications, units can be produced in custom shapes and different power ratings, and can be integrated into both vertical and horizontal line configurations. The heater body is manufactured from highly polished stainless-steel sheet for durability and improved reflectivity.
Typical Applications
Electric infrared heaters are preferred for their rapid and economical heating and are commonly used in:
• Powder coating and liquid paint drying/curing ovens
• Wood industry: drying of liquid paint, varnish, and lacquer
• MDF powder coating applications
• Food industry baking processes (application dependent)
• Drying of varnishes and adhesives
• Rubber curing / vulcanization
• Paper industry coating, paint, and drying processes
• Synthetic leather manufacturing: baking and patterning/embossing
• Baking of glass wool and resins
• Drying of paint on mirrors and coated glass
• Space heating for industrial environments
